The Traditional Cheese Factory was created in 1952 by Charalambos Douroundoudakis in Myriokefala, Rethymno.

Today we continue the tradition, as a private family business, with modern equipment in machines and privately owned facilities, 

without however deviating from the traditional way of manufacturing our products. The products we produce are:

traditional anthotyro, graviera, kefalotyri, mizithra, xinomyzithra and white brine cheese 

At the "Douroundoudaki-Manolaki" cheese factory, we make cheese products with milk from our region.The region of Myriokefali has extensive mountainous areas and goats and sheep that freely graze on them. 

Therefore, traditional cheeses produced naturally from sheep's milk have the characteristics of the region where they are produced.

The products are pure without preservatives, with natural maturation and sanitization.

The company applies the certified HACCP and ISO quality assurance systems so that its products meet the specifications of the Greek Legislation and all the conditions established by the European Union.
